Be An Artist:
Adopting an artistic identity is more than just a justification for alternative lifestyles. "Art" is such a vague and encompassing term that it can mean whatever you want it to mean!
Our Family Identity:
Travel to foreign countries and learning other languages are important parts of our identity. So is the idea of "art" and "artists". Being an artist is a possibility and reality for every member of the family.
Going to the Toilet:
In a restaurant in Ottawa, Illinois, young Alexandra asked her parents how to say "Where is the bathroom" in the local language. We told her English works well in the U.S.
NOTE: Encouraging artistic behavior in children should ONLY be attempted by trained professionals in a closed environment.
